Description of St. John's Wort Liquid Herbal Extract 1 oz from Herb Pharm
St. John's Wort
All of our Liquid Herbal Extracts are prepared according to precise Good Manufacturing Practices and with individualized formulations or processes, which enable each herb to be extracted according to its own unique physical and biochemical characteristics. This attention to detail produces a finished extract which optimally represents the herb from which it was made. Our extracts are very rich in the aroma, taste and bioactive compounds of the original herbs themselves. We use pharmaceutical-grade, certified organic alcohol to make over 90% of our liquid herbal extracts. All bottles are protected with a tamper-evident seal.
Botanical Name: Hypericum perforatum
Structure Function: Promotes Positive Mood & Healthy Emotional Balance.
Plant Part Extracted: Fresh Flowering & Budding Tops

We prepare our St. John's Wort Extract from fresh (undried) flowering & budding tops of Hypericum perforatum plants which are Custom Wildcrafted™ in their natural wild habitat.
Suggested Use: SHAKE WELL BEFORE USING. Two to five times per day take 30 to 40 drops in a little water.
To assure optimal extraction of hypericin and flavonoids (rutin, quercitrin, isoquercitrin and quercetin), we hand-harvest only the uppermost flowering & budding tops which are then taken directly to our laboratory and promptly extracted while still fresh and succulent.
